The journey of Everest Base Camp Trek is extraordinary and the start of this trip is not ordinary either. Taking the flight to world’s most extreme airport of the world the Tenzing Hillary Airport Lukla, trekkers reach the small Himalayan hamlet of Lukla. Trekkers will meet their porters and other crew members in this town. Our itinerary for the Everest Base Camp Trek is knitted in such a way that trekkers will get acclimatized gradually for the risk free walking up in the Himalayas. Walking on high altitude and sleeping in the low altitude is the key technique to avoid the risk of altitude sickness. Therefore, Phakding which is below Lukla is our first place to spend a night.
Walking through green lush forests, hamlets and crossing suspension bridges trekkers will finally reach the most iconic town of Khumbu the Namche Bazaar. This town is the marketplace and heartland of entire Everest region. Trekkers will acclimatize in this place by spending one more day by doing hiking of Everest View Hotel. The sight of mountains like Everest, Thamserku, Tabuche, Amadablam, Kusum Kangaru, Kangtega, Kwangde, Nuptse, Lhotse etc. are seen throughout.
Trekkers will trek past serene monastery of Tengboche which is the final destination during Everest View Trek in Nepal. Acclimatization takes place in Dingboche village too which is located on the bank of Imja River with Mt. Amadablam on the backdrop.
Trekkers will finally reach the Everest Base Camp after passing by villages like Thukla, Lobuche and Gorakshep. Take as many pictures and memories as possible from the Everest Base Camp (5364 m) and don’t forget to witness the glorious sunrise moments from the top of Kalapathhar (5545 m).
We will take the same route back to Lukla. Book the Everest Base Camp Trek with us and feed your heart with the breathtaking scenery of mountains and Himalayan landscape. This is undoubtedly the best iconic walking adventure to do in Nepal at least once in a lifetime.
