The journey typically begins with a flight to Lukla, followed by a trek to the iconic Namche Bazaar. From there, the trail leads to the stunning Gokyo Lakes, offering mesmerizing reflections of the surrounding peaks. Trekkers then cross the challenging Cho La Pass to reach the Everest Base Camp, where the sight of the world's highest peak, Mount Everest, is nothing short of awe-inspiring.

Trip Itinerary

Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, the bustling capital of Nepal, you will be greeted by our team and transferred to your hotel. Take this day to rest and acclimate to the new surroundings, or explore the vibrant streets of Thamel.

Embark on an early morning scenic flight to Lukla, where the trek begins. The trail leads to Phakding, a picturesque village along the Dudh Kosi River, surrounded by lush green landscapes.

Continue the trek along the riverbank, crossing suspension bridges and entering Sagarmatha National Park. Ascend through pine forests to reach Namche Bazaar, a bustling Sherpa town with stunning mountain views.

Spend a day acclimatizing in Namche Bazaar. Explore the town, visit the Sherpa Cultural Museum, and take in panoramic views of Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam from the nearby viewpoint.

The trail winds through rhododendron forests and opens up to spectacular views of the Everest and Ama Dablam. Reach Tengboche, home to the famous Tengboche Monastery, surrounded by awe-inspiring mountain scenery.

Descend through forests and cross the Imja River, trekking towards Dingboche. The landscape changes, becoming more arid as you approach this high-altitude village nestled beneath the towering peaks.

Take another acclimatization day in Dingboche to prepare for higher altitudes. Optionally, embark on a short hike to Nagarjun Hill for stunning views of Makalu and other surrounding peaks.

Ascend further along the Khumbu Glacier moraine, passing memorials dedicated to climbers who lost their lives on Everest. Reach Lobuche, a small settlement with breathtaking views of Nuptse and other peaks.

Hike to Gorak Shep and continue to Everest Base Camp, an iconic destination for trekkers. Marvel at the Khumbu Icefall and return to Gorak Shep for a well-deserved rest.

Early morning ascent to Kala Patthar, the highest point of the trek, offering a panoramic sunrise view of Everest and its neighboring peaks. Descend to Lobuche for the night.

Embark on the challenging ascent of Kongma La Pass, marked by stunning vistas. Descend to Chhukung, a remote village surrounded by majestic peaks.

Traverse the challenging Cho La Pass, surrounded by glacial landscapes. Descend to Dzongla, a serene and remote settlement with unparalleled views.

Follow the trail alongside the Dudh Kosi River to reach Gokyo, a tranquil village situated near the emerald Gokyo Lakes. Enjoy the serene beauty of this alpine setting.


Climb Gokyo Ri for a sunrise panorama of Everest, Cho Oyu, and Makalu. Later, cross Renjo La Pass and descend to Marlung, surrounded by picturesque landscapes.

Descend through lush forests and traditional Sherpa villages, making your way back to Namche Bazaar. Reflect on the incredible journey and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of the town.

Continue the descent, passing through Phakding, and trek back to Lukla. This marks the end of your high-altitude adventure. Celebrate the completion of the trek with your fellow trekkers and guides.

Take a scenic flight back to Kathmandu, allowing for a final glimpse of the majestic Himalayan peaks. Spend your last day in Kathmandu exploring the city or relaxing before your departure.
