Trip Itinerary

Arrive in Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal, and spend the day exploring the city. Complete necessary preparations for the trek, including permits and a trek briefing.

Embark on a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Nayapul, the starting point of the Khopra Danda Trek. Begin the trek to Tikhedhunga, trekking through terraced fields and traditional villages.

Ascend to Ghorepani, passing through lush rhododendron forests. Ghorepani is renowned for its panoramic views, and the trek provides glimpses of the surrounding peaks.

Early morning hike to Poon Hill for a spectacular sunrise over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. Descend to Ghorepani and continue the trek to Tadapani, trekking through forests and charming settlements.

Continue the trek to Bayeli Kharka, trekking through rhododendron and oak forests. The trail offers panoramic views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges.

Ascend to Khopra Danda, a high ridge offering stunning views of the surrounding peaks. Enjoy the serene ambiance and capture breathtaking vistas of Annapurna South and other Himalayan giants.

Continue the descent to Ulleri, a village known for its traditional architecture and terraced landscapes. The trail takes you through forests and provides views of the Annapurna range.

Complete the trek by descending to Nayapul. Drive to Pokhara, a picturesque lakeside city, where you can relax and enjoy the comforts of civilization.

Either drive or take a short flight back to Kathmandu from Pokhara. Spend the remaining time in Kathmandu for relaxation, shopping, or additional sightseeing.

Depart from Kathmandu, concluding the Khopra Danda Trek with memories of the stunning Himalayan landscapes, cultural encounters, and the unique experiences along the trekking trail.
